The #BIG6KISS

We're asking energy consumers to let the Government know what they think about energy tariffs. We want the Big 6 to keep it Super Simple.

Simply better, simply clearer

The energy regulator, Ofgem, announced the Retail Market Review in November 2010 - a review of the markets for electricity and gas for households and small businesses in the UK. Almost three years later, the regulator has issued its final proposals "to provide consumers with simpler choices and clearer information about products, prices and available savings".

Whilst Ofgem's intentions are positive, their final proposals don't go far enough. Far from simplifying the market for consumers, they preserve the current complexity.

We feel strongly that the voice of the consumer has not been heard in this debate. So we are calling on consumers to tweet @ofgem and @DeccGovUk to keep energy tariffs super simple before the consultation closes on 23rd April. It's time to campaign for a #Big6Kiss.
