Step 2 - Receive your welcome letter


Keep an eye on your emails and post
Within a few days of signing up, we’ll send you a welcome letter by email or post (depending on which option you chose). 

There’s no need to tell your existing energy supplier
After a mandatory ‘cooling off’ period, we’ll get in touch with your existing supplier and let them know you’re switching to us. 

We’ll let you know your switchover date
We’ll then agree a switchover date with your current supplier – usually four to six weeks from when you signed up.

Step 3 - Provide a meter reading

Meter read

When your switchover date arrives, we’ll ask you to provide us with a meter reading
This is so we can calculate your energy consumption from the date you switched over to us. 

You don’t need to send your reading to your previous supplier 
We’ll also send this on to your previous supplier so they can provide your final bill.

Congratulations, you’re all switched over!

Step 4 - We collect your first payment

We collect your first Direct Debit payment soon after the switchover date. After that, we’ll send you quarterly statements.
