If you’re always losing your tweezers or regularly find hair pins jammed in your vacuum cleaner, attaching a magnetic strip to your bathroom wall could be the solution you’re after. A great way to ensure you can always find your nail clippers and hair grips, this organisation hack will help you maintain a tidy bathroom.

2. Egg box storage containers

Looking for a cheap and easy way to organise your drawers and surfaces? Egg boxes make handy storage containers, so whether you’re looking to make a portable sewing box, store your jewellery or separate nuts and bolts, you’ve always got a cost effective solution to hand.

3. Toilet roll cable holders

Instead of discarding your toilet roll middles next time you finish a roll, why not put them to good use? Easily spruced up with a lick of paint, toilet rolls make thrifty cable separators, saving you the hassle of untangling your camera charger from your HDMI cable next time you go on holiday. Also, if you fancy being extra organised, you can even write what cable you’re cocooning on the roll.

4. Muffin tray drawer tidies

Desk drawers a jumbled mess? Organise your stationery by separating them into different muffin tray compartments. Opting for a sturdy muffin tray rather than flimsy cardboard dividers also means your drawer tidy will stand the test of time.

Don’t be daunted, this installation may look like it needs power tools but all you really need is a screwdriver, making it a very simple way to declutter your cupboard.
