Co-operative Energy set to defend best energy provider title

Posted on 10 December 2012

Consumer Moneyfacts Awards winner, Co-operative Energy, is aiming to retain the Best Energy Provider accolade after being announced as a finalist for the second successive year.

The ethical energy provider will go head to head against eight other contenders including Big Six suppliers EDF , Scottish Power, e.on and npower. The winner will be chosen by customers, who have nominated via an online survey.

The aim of the awards is to give the UK’s millions of customers a voice and a chance to reflect how they feel about the products available to them.

Nigel Mason, Business Development Manager at Co-operative Energy said: “It’s great news that we’ve made the final of these prestigious awards for the second successive year.  We hope that our commitment to provide customers with consistently competitive prices, our recent price decrease and our promise to share profits with our customers will see us retain the Best Energy Provider award.”

The award ceremony will take place at The HAC, London on Thursday 24th January 2013.
