On Saturday 23rd June we held our Community Energy Conference 2018 at the Renold Building, University of Manchester.
Like 2017, the Conference was the launch event for Community Energy Fortnight 2018, sponsored by Co-op Energy and joined this year by Electricity North West and Tyndall Manchester.
This year’s conference – entitled ‘Energised Communities’ was once again jointly hosted with Community Energy England and explored:
- How we can build sustainable models for delivering energy efficiency
- Taking community energy from surviving to thriving
- Everything you wanted to know about raising finance but were afraid to ask
- How to look after your community’s investment
These and other questions were explored at what has become the UK’s largest and most exciting annual gathering of community energy practitioners.
