Co-operative Energy customer case study

Gary Blissett, who lives with his wife and two young children in their three-storey, end-of-terrace home in Nottingham, was already a member of Co-operative Energy when the idea of the Big Switch arose. 

Contemplating the best tariff for his lifestyle, Gary decided that this was the perfect opportunity to move to Co-operative Energy’s fixed price tariff.

Father of two, Gary, describes the simplicity of his switch: “With both of the children being under the age of two, my wife and I have very little spare time on our hands.  We were slightly worried that switching tariffs may be a bit of a hassle, but we couldn’t have been more wrong.  One phone call and Co-operative Energy switched my tariff right away – it couldn’t have been easier.”

As someone who holds a strong interest in the welfare of the natural environment, using a supplier that gets their energy from renewable sources was of utmost importance to IT worker, Gary.  Having a family means that Gary has to consider the financial implications of his beliefs.  Luckily, with Co-operative Energy, Gary’s ethical beliefs do not have to be sacrificed.
