Warm Home Discount 2016/2017

Posted on 23 November 2016

The Warm Home Discount Scheme is a government initiative designed to help those most at risk of fuel poverty pay for their energy bills during the winter months. Customers who are eligible will receive a one-off rebate of £140 towards their electricity bill.

To qualify, energy customers are normally already in receipt of certain benefits such as the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit or other certain means-tested benefits.

The scheme for 2016/17 is now open and you can apply online.   The scheme is operated on a first come first served basis and there is a limit to the amount of rebates that we can apply.  So don’t delay, apply today.
