Warm your clothes on a radiator

There is nothing better on a cold morning than putting your work clothes on, straight from the radiator.

Hug a loved one

It’s scientifically proven to make you feel calmer, and everybody loves a cuddle in winter.

Put a sheet of tin foil behind your radiators

As long as the shiny side is facing into the room, it should reflect the heat into the room.

Book your annual flu jab

they aren’t the most fun things in the world, but they’re better than the flu. Stay happy and healthy.

Build a pillow fort with the kids

It’s the most fun you can have indoors on a wet day, and it’s SO COSY.

Block your chimney to prevent draughts

Chimney balloons are great – just don’t forget to take them out before you light the fire!

Curl up with some chicken soup

It’s a great remedy when you’ve got a cold, plus it warms your hands up while you’re eating!

Insulate your home

Keep the heat in this winter by insulating your loft – typically, you’ll save £150 every year!

Seal your windows

Reduce the amount of warm air that escapes your home and keep out draughts.

Cuddle up under the duvet

When it’s this chilly, why bother leaving the bedroom?

Grab a hot water bottle

And watch some festive TV on the sofa. You won’t want to move for hours.

Try some thermal underwear

From lacy vests to patterned leggings and simple, stylish t-shirts. Trust us, it’s worth trying!

Bring some hand warmers on your winter walk

They’re super-cheap and make chilly winter mornings so much more enjoyable.

Wrap up in a scarf

Who says hats and scarves are just for outdoors? Accessorize inside for extra-cosy chic.

Dig out your Christmas jumper

They’re big, they’re woolly, and they work hard to keep you cosy.

Move furniture away from radiators

It helps the hot air circulate through the room.

Pull on a Christmas hat

Did you know that 30% of your body heat is lost through your head? You’ll be amazed at the difference.

Get the fire on

Save a bit of cash by curling up in front of the fire rather than turning the heating up.

Jump into a onesie

There aren’t many things cosier than your all-in-one. Don’t have one yet? Consider investing!

Lie on the sofa with your cat or dog

They’re furry, friendly, and amazing at keeping you warm and happy.

Clean the house

It’s much easier to stay warm when you’re up and active. Put some music on and get your home sparkling for Santa.

Throw a party

More people in the room = more heat in the room. With all that dancing and chatting, you’ll warm up in no time!
